June, 2008

Very Ammicable Soloution - Since the 9th June 08 , Easyriders throughout Australia have done as requested by a Club and have stopped wearing any clothing with Yellow FLAMES and have made some adjustments after reliable information was received . We understand the colour conflict and have agreed to replace our flames and red lettering with another deisgn and colour to avoid any misconceptions about Identities. We thank the club concerned for bring the matter too out attention as we only want to ride in peace Respectfully we have been informed this afternoon Sunday 29th June 08 from a senior member of the club in question , they have no issues with our back insignia - ERA Club Representatives have met with the club in question locally in WINDSOR Saturday 28th and been reassurred that the matter is currently resolved. There was and never any intended malace or intent to harm any EASYRIDER by ANYONE INVOLVED We respect all riders and clubs and in turn receive nothing but respect back.Old school values ..where a mans word and his hand shake is worth everything. We have been always had an open door policy too discus the matter but have found it quite hard to get a clear picture for one reason or another, AT NO TIME was any Easyriders threatened or met with hostility or disrespect. This is Dispite the whispers of the gossipers blowing things way out of proportion. Confirmation by heads of some of the Major MC Clubs throughout Australia have assured us there are NO problems. Any \"Out to get us\" talk is untrue, unfounded and exaggerated to say the least. Put things into perspective, We have been around for well over 30 years. We are a family orientated Social Motorcycle Club and although we support many clubs we are not affiliated or a threat to any. There are over 30 years worth of friendships between members of Easyriders and other clubs. We have ex members of many many clubs as Easyriders , who still communicate and liaise with their original clubs be they 1%ers or others. There are a few events on around the country with the various clubs, if you were intending on going as an Easyrider, please continue to do so , albeit without the yellow flames on mens long sleeve T Shirts and Caps . A new deisgn is coming soon. Sorry for the small inconvenience. Please don\'t panic or be concerned about wearing your BACK INSIGNIA ,short sleeved shirt, the ladies long sleeved, or your front patches and hoodies . They are all fine. So we could have done nothing or try and work things out and co-exist peacefully. I think we can ALL co-exist if we keep doing what we are doing. Making smart choices and having friends from all types of clubs. I know there are plenty of "Rights" arguments and debate in what I have written, but what you have read here is very real like it or not. We all have at least one thing in common, "Motorcycles" not to mention close friends! I encourage you all to enjoy this life style by being knowledgeable of it.and don\'t believe bullshit rumors.we are not a feeder club, we don\'t wear rockers and don\'t have MC on our gear, we have S.M.C (Social Motorcycle Club ) Red white and blue the colours of the Australia flag these are earned not given nor bought ,Nor for sale Any questions, concerns ,Please feel free to contact your National President Pedro (0412 467 621) >> full...
